Land rover sunroof not working. As always land rover goes above and beyond when it comes to luxury. Previous thread next thread paul a new member. Hi all battery has been disconnected for around a month whilst i was working on the d2 the sunroof will now not open fuses ok any thoughts. We have plenty of very knowledgable members so if you have any questions about your land rover or just want to connect with other landy owners you re in the right place.

Even thought it looks clean and dry. Landyzone is the biggest land rover forum on the net. Bough the yoke with a non working sunroof previous owner said about a flat battery and blown fuse. Thought it was mine.

Hi yes it both of them sunroofs that are not working i have opened the roof up to see cubby box above the sunvisers and found the control box and have opened and closed the sunroof by hand allen key just to see if it was stiff etc its not so what could it be. Any information where the sunroof wires track back down to the fuse or power source any help on were to go from here would be amazing cheers. I think the control box is a goner. Any land rover discovery owner who has a model fitted with sunroofs will at some point have sunroof issues and find that smelly wet carpets and lots of condensation on the windows are quite the norm lots of people seal up the sunroof s with silicon sealer which stops the leak for a while until the silicone shrinks or comes unstuck from the seal or the glass then the water starts leaking in.
